Tasmanian Skilled Migration State Nomination Program Update

Final stage interim program opening – all eligible candidates

All eligible applicants can now register their interest in the Tasmanian Skilled Migration State Nomination Program by submitting a Registration of Interest (ROI).

All applicants who match the minimal criteria for one of the nomination pathways are therefore eligible to declare their interest in being nominated. This also applies to applicants who qualify for an Orange Pass.

New Migration Tasmania Application Gateway update

The new Migration Tasmania Gateway Application Gateway, which will become the central portal for applying for Tasmanian skilled visa nomination, is currently being finalized and tested. This Gateway is expected to go live in Early December 2022

How many priority attributes are needed to be invited?

Before the end of the interim period, all applicants who have at least one gold or green attribute will be invited to submit an application for nomination.

As a result of the anticipated high level of interest in the programme, only those ROIs having at least six orange features are likely to be invited before the end of the interim period, even in the absence of any gold or green attributes. Applicant might want to hold off on expressing interest until the Application Gateway is launched in December since interim ROIs will only be accepted until December 9 of 2022.

Once the Application Gateway has been launched, ROIs there will be held for six months.
