General Criteria

  • Enrolment in a course of study (eCOE)
  • Proof of English language proficiency
  • Evidence of financial ability to cover course fees, international travel costs and living costs associated with the applicants’ stay in Australia (including funds for any family unit members)
  • Acquiring health insurance (OSHC) overseas student’s health cover

Financial Expense:

The financial expense includes the department fees. Addition to that there is health insurance, tuition fees, living expense, police check, biometrics & health check-ups which varies individual to individual.

Visa Subclass 189

The 189 Visa is a permanent visa for skilled workers who are not sponsored by an Australian company, family member, state or territory. To be eligible for the Skilled Independent visa, applicants must score at least 65 points on the point. The candidate must submit an expression of interest (EOI) and be invited by SkillSelect to apply for this visa. The visa holder and accompanying family members can live, work and study in Australia as permanent residents once the Skilled Independent Visa is approved.

Visa Subclass 190

The Skilled Nominated Visa is a permanent visa for skilled workers nominated by a state or territory government in Australia. To be eligible to apply for a Skilled Nominated Visa, applicants must receive a minimum of 65 points on a points assessment and be nominated by a participating State or Territory government in Australia. You must submit an expression of interest (EOI) and be invited by SkillSelect to apply for this visa.

Visa Subclass 191

The Skilled Work Regional Visa is a five-year visa designed to encourage skilled professionals to live and work in specific regional areas of Australia. Applicants must be sponsored by an Australian relative who lives in a defined location, or by the government of a State or Territory.
